Brookland-Cayce’s Luke Long will be running Cross Country in the 3A State Championship Saturday (Nov. 12.) The Cross Country State Championship was moved from Friday to Saturday due to weather concerns. Long will represent BC in the boys’ race at 9:30 a.m.

The State High School Cross Country Meets will be held at The Clemson Sandhills Research and Education Center (900 Clemson Road.)

Long, a senior, qualified as an individual during the state qualifiers meet. He finished 18th overall. The last BC runner to advance to the state championship was in 2016. The last BC male to run in the championship race was in 2015.
