Brookland-Cayce High School basketball player Lloyd Hemming signed scholarship documents to play college basketball at USC-Upstate, Wednesday. Hemming was named the 3A high school Player-of-the-Year for the 2016-17 basketball season.

Lloyd is pictured with his father and mother, Harold and Aline Hemming. BC basketball coach Robert Wells praised Hemming for leading the Bearcats to the Lower State Championship game. Hemming also considered Augusta State, Limestone, Newberry, Coker and Wofford among others, Wells said.
