Brookland-Cayce wins Lower State Boys Soccer Championship; Will play for State Championship

By Jackson Ward – Eduardo Moisa scored Brookland-Cayce’s first goal, versus Bishop England, Tuesday and he scored again with three minutes left in the second overtime. The Bearcat Boys Soccer Team won, 2-1, at Bishop England in the 3 A Lower State Championship Game.

With the win, Brookland-Cayce advances to the State Championship game versus Daniel. It’s Saturday at 1 pm, at Irmo.

Brookland-Cayce Boys Varsity Soccer had a record year this year. BC went 16-6 this season, and 10-0 in region play. The Bearcats were undefeated in 3A, and 9-0 at home. The team had the school record for the most points difference in one game, 22-0, vs Orangeburg Wilkinson at Home. BC outscored region opponents 97-2. BC also hosted three tournaments this season.
