Brookland-Cayce’s football team went down to Bluffton and defeated the No. 1 seed Bobcats by a score of 14-7. It was the the 12th win for the Bearcats.

Bluffton- a favorite- scored the first touchdown and led 7-0 at halftime.

But the Bearcats tied the score in the third quarter- and took the lead on a 10-yard run by Rasheed Taylor with 10:53 left in the game.
The two 3A giants traded possessions until the Bobcats failed to convert on fourth-and-one with less than a minute left in the game. BC got the ball- and ran out the clock.

BC advances to play Dillon- a 35-7 winner over Timberland Friday night. Next week’s game will be at Brookland-Cayce for the Lower State Championship.
