Brookland-Cayce Boys team defeated Strom Thurmond in a 3A Region 5 showdown, Thursday night.
With the 61-49 win, BC’s record improves to 10-0 in conference. And it gives the Bearcats  the conference championship. The game was at Strom Thurmond. It was BC’s first win at Strom Thurmond in 10 years.

With the win, BC dodged an extra game that would have been a tie-breaker, played Friday, with Strom Thurmond. The Rebels fell to 8-2 in Region 5. BC won over Strom Thurmond, 69-44, on the Bearcats’ home court earlier in the season.
