Brookland-Cayce High School athlete signs to play at the college level

A Brookland-Cayce High School athlete declared his intent to participate in his sport at the college level.

Senior Nehemiah “Nemo” Daniels has committed to Johnson C. Smith University as part of the track and field program.

Daniels throws shot put and discus for Brookland-Cayce’s track team and is in the school’s record books for both.  He also has played football for the Bearcats.

Daniels participated in a signing ceremony Tuesday. Coaches, teammates, fellow students, family members, and faculty and staff attended the event, which was held in Brookland-Cayce’s Hall of Fame room.
