Brookland-Cayce, Gray Collegiate win big in first round of football playoffs

Brookland-Cayce, and Gray Collegiate Academy got big wins in first round of the SC High School League football football playoffs.

Brookland-Cayce (3A) defeated Waccamaw by a score of 33-0, Friday night at Brookland-Cayce. BC is a No. 1 seed and will have home field advantage throughout the playoffs. The Bearcats will host Hanahan at 7:30 p.m. Friday.

Gray Collegiate (2A) defeated North Central 63-0, Friday night. The War Eagles’ KZ Adams rushed for 255 yards and had 5 touchdowns.
Gray Collegiate is now 10-1 and will host to Crescent at Midlands Sports Complex, 7:30 p.m., Friday.

Airport fell to Hartsville, 70-13.
