Brookland-Cayce defeated Orangeburg-Wilkinson 37-6 Friday night at Fort Knox.

With the win, in the regular season finale, BC is the top seed out of Region 5-3A going into the playoffs.
Brookland-Cayce will open the Class 3A playoffs at 7:30 p.m. at home versus Waccamaw. O-W will travel to Aynor for their playoff game.

Friday night, The Bearcats (8-2, 4-1) scored first on a touchdown pass.
A bad snap by O-W that went over the head punter and out of the endzone resulted in a safety for BC and it was 9-0 Bearcats at the end of the first quarter.

A one-yard touchdown run in the second quarter made it 16-0 at halftime for Brookland-Cayce.
The Bruins (5-5, 3-2) were not able to find any consistency in the second half. Brookland-Cayce added two more touchdowns by Kennerly in the second half to pull away for the win.
