Brookland-Cayce, Region 5, 3A, defeated 5A Chapin by a score of 33-21, Friday night at Fort Knox. BC had the ball 5 times in the first half and score 4 times to lead 26-6 at halftime.  

Quarterback Naahzeikial Mays on 18 carries had 212 yards and 3 TDs Deshawn Washington had 88 yards on 17 carries. Mays is normally a running back, but played QB in the wildcat formation. BC threw only 2 passes and completed only 1 for 28-yards to Jackson Thomas. The Bearcats are off next week, but start the Region 5 schedule on Sept. 30 versus Orangeburg-Wilkinson.
