Brookland-Cayce defeats Beaufort, Gray wins, and Airport falls in high school football playoffs

Brookland-Cayce defeated Beaufort 31-30, Friday in round one of the S.C. State football playoffs. The Bearcats had to come from behind to get the raod win over their higher-seeded opponent.

The last 3:10 of the game was delayed by a storm. Because of the long break, BC did not got get home until 4:30 a.m., Saturday
Brookland-Cayce travels to No. 1 ranked Hartsville Friday.

Gray Collegiate won 43-21, Friday over Latta, Friday in the 2A playoffs.

The contest was played at Benedict College. This Friday Gray plays Bamberg-Ehrhardt. The site of the game will be determined.

Marlboro County defeated Airport 48-20 in a 4A playoff game at Airport to end the Eagles’ season.
