The Brookland-Cayce boys basketball team kept its playoff streak alive Monday night.

The Bearcats defeated Fox Creek 64-38 in the semifinals of the Region 5-3A tournament.

With the win, BC qualified for the SC High School League playoffs. It’s the ninth straight year Brookland-Cayce has made the playoffs. The team has made the playoffs in each of Coach Robert Wells nine years guiding the program.

The Bearcats will play at top-seeded Orangeburg-Wilkinson at 7 p.m. Wednesday. The winner secures the region title and a top seed for the Class 3A playoffs.
