The fourth annual Brookland-Cayce Baseball 5K Run/Walk is scheduled for 9 a.m. Feb. 20.

The race will be held to raise funds for the Brookland-Cayce High School baseball program, with proceeds going to help renovate the BCHS baseball field and press box. Funds will also be used for equipment.

The race was started in memory of John Petrey. He died in 2010, after he was found to have a brain tumor. Petrey’s wife, Gay, and former head coach Bo Bowers established the race.
