The Brookland-Cayce High School Athletic Hall of Fame will induct five new members on Friday, Oct.  28, during half-time of the Brookland-Cayce vs. Strom Thurmond football game at Bearcat Stadium in Cayce. The new Inductees are:

June Frick Roof, Class of 1951, Basketball

Eddie Jeffcoat, Class of 1956, Football/Baseball

Coach John Checkovich, Wrestling and Volleyball Coach, 1969-2001

Coach John Daye, Athletic Director/Football Coach, 1979-1987

Russell Triplett, Class of 1999, Football/Baseball

There will be a small reception honoring the Inductees in the lobby of the gym at 6 p.m. prior to the football game.
