Broadacres Baptist Church is expecting a big crowd Saturday.
From 8:30 a.m. ’til 11:30 a.m. Broadacres is hosting Breakfast and Pictures with Santa. It’s at the church, 2350 Taylor Rd. in Cayce.

While there will be carols, cookie decorating and food, Pastor Brian Benehaley will include the most important thing.

“It’s a great time of the year,” said Benenhaley, “But a lot of people are dealing with heartbreak.”
Benenhaley said Christmas may be when a loved one is missed or a lack of finances become more pronounced.

“Christmas can make people sad,” he said.
Because of despair, Benenhaley said Broadacres will help share Jesus with anyone who wants counseling while they are at the Breakfast with Santa event.

Benenhaley also said he wants people in the community to know Broadacres Baptist cares year round.
Other highlights of the event include songs, ornament-making and pancakes and sausage. Benenhaley said groups coming Saturday will be treated to tours through the church that end with a visit with Chris Cringle- also know as Santa Claus.
