Bowlero, high-energy bowling cuts the ribbon in Cayce
The bowling experience in Cayce has gotten a shot of excitement.
The ribbon was cut, Friday, on Bowlero. It’s the totally remolded- and renamed- bowling alley at 900 Axtell Dr., in the Parkland Plaza building that was formerly known as AMF Park Lanes.
Bowlero features blacklight bowling, an arcade, food and drink specials, and more.
“It’s high energy bowling,” said Matt Roland, the general manager of Bowlero. And he was not the only one celebrating the opening.
“It was great to have this ribbon cutting today in Cayce at the new Bowlero,” said Richard Skipper, executive director of the Greater Cayce -West Columbia Chamber of Commerce. “It’s so exciting to see all the changes that have been made.”
Cayce City Councilwoman Tara Almond gave a “big welcome” to Bowlero before the ribbon was cut.
Roland said there are more than 300 Bowlero locations nationally. AMF, Bowlmor, and Brunswick bowling alleys are becoming Bowlero.
The Cayce building, as a part of the transformation. has been fitted with new TVs, scoreboards, seating and bowling lanes.
“We remodeled it from the floor up,” said Roland.
