Bobby Horton receives Lifetime Achievement Award at Cayce- West Columbia Chamber dinner – Award Winners gallery

Chamber executive Director Richard Skipper, Lifetime Achievement Award Winner Bobby Horton, Chamber Board President Tina Washington and West Columbia Mayor Tem Miles. 

The Greater Cayce – West Columbia Chamber of Commerce 2020 Awards Dinner was held at the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel in West Columbia, Thursday evening. Brent Johnson of 93.1 The lake served as emcee for the 200 or so guests. 

Former West Columbia Mayor Bobby Horton received the Lifetime Achievement Award.

Other winners were as follows: New Business of Year – Planet Fitness- Small Business of the Year – The Comet, Central Midlands Transit – accepting Pamela Bynoe-Reed and Lexington County Councilwoman Deb Summers. Business of the Year was Nephron Pharmaceuticals – accepting was Lindsey Miles Citizen of the Year was Joe Taylor. Local Volunteer of the Year was Melissa Sprouse Browne. Lexington 2 Schools Student of the Year was Marcus Gadsden. Lexington 2 Schools Teacher of the Year was Jennifer Eskridge. Lexington 4 Schools Student of the Year was Abigail Kasselt. Lexington 4 Schools Teacher of the Year was Angela Farris. Student Volunteer of the Year, from Brookland-Cayce High school, was Joseph Buchmeir. Ambassador of the Year MaKenzie Long.
