A new Big Lots store is scheduled to open in Lexington this summer.

The site of the Big Lots store is 421 Columbia Avenue. It’s where the BI-LO was. There is a Big Lots on US 1, at Wattling Road, in West Columbia.

Heather Stewart, of Rivercrest Realty Investors in Raleigh, NC said the store is likely to open in the summer in accordance with the construction schedule. Other stores in the shopping center include Little China Buffet, Liberty Tax, and Wild Birds Unlimited.
