The Colatown Beer Wars kickoff event for the 2019 Columbia Craft Beer Week was held Saturday at West Columbia Riverwalk.

The winning taste, Saturday of the 2019 Beer Wars! Number 5: Sugar Creek Brewing, Blood Orange IPA.

A crowd of brew-lovers descended upon the Riverwalk parking lot sampling the many beers competing. In the amphitheatre, the popular musical group Prettier Than Matt performed followed by DJ Phil Blair.
