BC Grammar School No. 1 Principal Walter Clark was given a Certificate of Achievement at the Lexington School Board meeting in January. District 2 Superintendent Dr. Bill James presented the certificate to Clark.

BC Grammar School No. 1, an Elementary school in Lexington Two, was named a Palmetto’s Finest school. The highly prestigious award was announced Tuesday afternoon.
A representative from the SC Palmetto’s Finest Committee was scheduled to be at Brookland-Cayce Grammar School No. 1 in West Columbia on Tuesday, when the SC Association of School Administrators (SCASA) announced, via live stream of ETV, the 2016 Palmetto’s Finest Schools.
B-C Grammar No. 1 received notification from the SCASA on Jan. 11 that it was selected as a finalist for the 2016 award.
