Lloyd Hemming hit a three-pointer at the buzzer and Brookland-Cayce defeated Ridgeland- Hardeeville, 67-65. The game was Tuesday night in the 3A Lower State semifinal basketball playoffs. Hemming is the 3A State Player-of-the-Year.

The game was played in Estill.

BC will play Dillon in Florence – at the Florence Civic Center- on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. according to BC Athletic Director, Rusty Charpia. Dillon defeated Bishop-England Tuesday night, 74-64.

It will be the same two teams that played for the Lower State Championship in football.
