Ricky Williams, a River Bluff High School baseball player with local ties signed to play at Clemson, Wednesday.
He is the grandson of Jane and Tony Taylor of West Columbia. His parents are Richie and Heather Williams. Jane Taylor spent more than 30 years in the Lexington Two School District, before leaving the Northside Middle School office more than a year ago.
Alex Urban, teammate of Williams at River Bluff, also signed to play at Clemson.
Also signing to play in college from River Bluff were: Kaye Richardson, Volleyball at Penn St. Harrisburg; .Katie Horan swimming at Tampa; Jesse Hollins, tennis at Coastal Carolina; and Cameron Ferrell, baseball Newberry.
