The Lexington Police Department reported that the traffic signals were without power at South Lake Drive (SC-6) at Industrial Drive, Friday night. The power was expected to be out for several more hours and an officer was onsite directing traffic at South Lake Drive (SC-6) at Industrial Drive. The intersection was being illuminated by a generator powered light tower.

There was also a report of downed trees in the 300 block of Industrial Drive that blocked traffic. The LPD reported numerous areas of flooding, trees down and lights out, causing roads to be closed and hazardous conditions.Police asked motorists to proceed with caution when approaching the intersection and be alert to other drivers. LPD  photos.
