Teachers are always needed. And potential teachers got the chance to explore opportunities in Lexington Two for the 2022-23 school year at the district’s Teacher Recruitment Fair, Tuesday.

“What an awesome turnout for our teacher fair this afternoon,” said Dr. Angela Cooper, via Twitter, after the recruitment fair. Cooper is the district’s chief human resources officer. Several photos (included here) from the fair were also posted.

As an incentive Lexington Two offers a $2,500 signing bonus for new teacher hires in special education, foreign language, and middle and high school English, math, science and social studies.

The recruitment fair was held from 4 p.m.-6 p.m. at the Lexington Two Innovation Center, in Cayce.
