Brookland-Cayce clinched the Region 5 Championship in baseball Friday night. BC defeated Orangeburg-Wilkinson 17-0 to win the Region crown. It’s the Bearcats’ first Region Championship since 2008. The 2008 team also won the State Championship. The championship was celebrated with a fireworks display at the BC baseball field behind the school in Cayce.
