At its 6 p.m. meeting Tuesday, West Columbia City Council will consider a motion that will allow for the Art on State event to be held from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. on May 7. In the past, Art on State has featured music, artists painting street murals in chalk, and visitors to the businesses open on State Street in conjunction with the monthly Art Crawl.

Council will also consider a resolution recognizing Gray Collegiate Academy Coach Kevin Heise for his 500th win in soccer.
