Archaeological Field Day is at Cayce’s 12,000 Year History Park this Saturday, Oct. 8
After two years of virtual Fall Field Day events, the Archaeological Society of South Carolina is thrilled to announce that this year’s 35th Annual Fall Field Day will be held in-person at the 12,000 Year History Park, 1120 Fort Congaree Trail in Cayce.
The Fall Filed Day will be held Saturday (Oct. 8) from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. at Cayce’s 12,000 Year History Park, There will be artifact displays and identification, excavation and tours, archaeology experts, vendors, updates and historical weapons.
Join the South Carolina archaeological community for a family-friendly day of activities and demonstrations. The event is free and open to everyone!
The 12,000 Year History Park on Congaree Creek in Cayce, is a unique historical, picturesque natural setting. Historical Walking tours are offered on Saturdays throughout the year.
