The City of Columbia Parks and Recreation Department has announced there will not be a Veterans’ Day Parade this year because of COVID-19 fears.

The parade is traditionally held in November, coinciding with Veterans Day. Many Lexington County veterans and related organizations normally participate in the parade.

In lieu, we will be having a special observance held on Veterans’ Day to commemorate all veterans.
