Almost all of the Cayce Riverwalk and Timmerman Trail are now open after undergoing repairs. The City of Cayce Parks staff worked to fix the damaged Riverwalk. Phase 3 of the Riverwalk Park from the entrance on Old State Road to Newman Boat Landing was closed in early May due to flooding.

The only section that remains closed is the boardwalk near the train trestle. Crews are now working to repair the structural damage sustained on that section during the last flood. It will reopen once it is repaired and safe to do so.
