Alan Bryon Redmond and Regenia Ray Obituaries – Moseley’s Funeral Home

Alan Bryon Redmond

Alan B. Redmond, 58, passed away on February 12, 2022. Alan was born in Cayce, SC to Jo Ann and Leo Redmond on August 13, 1963. He was a graduate of Brookland Cayce High School, class of 1981.

Growing up, Alan was known for his love of baseball and sports, and was quite the pitcher in his childhood. Once he got older, he was an incredibly talented artist, handyman, loved fishing and motorcycles, had a deep passion for music and enjoyed playing guitar. He had a way of making people laugh harder than anyone else and never met a stranger. He loved helping people, tackling random projects, helping his father with his “mancave”, and spending time with those he loved.

Alan is survived by his parents; his children, Alana Dangerfield (Jonathan), Austin Redmond and Kiley Edwards (Jayden); his grandchildren, Whitley Dangerfield and Chaise Edwards; his sister, Lee Ann Williams; his aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins and many other loving family and friends. The family would like to give a special thanks to Deana Chavious and Denise Graham for loving him so well during his challenging last few months.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 from 6 pm to 8 pm at Moseley’s Funeral Home on Meeting Street in West Columbia, SC. Graveside burial will be Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at 2 pm at Sardis Baptist Church in Swansea, SC.
