AHS Sophomore Collyn Richardson sets bench press record at National Strength Meet!

Airport High School Sophomore Collyn Richardson set a high school record for bench press at the National Strength Meet in Oklahoma City.

He took first place in bench press. Collyn bench pressed 369.8 pounds. He squatted 573 pounds for second place in the nationals. He was third in dead lift with 502 pounds.

Collyn was first in bench press in the (South Carolina) state meet with 390 pounds and third in squat with 565 pounds. Collyn finished second overall in the state meet.
He was recognized at the Lexington 2 School Board meeting, May 19.
