Airport defeated James Island 2-0 in the first game of the 4A Lower State District 3 playoff, Friday. The Eagles fell short in Game 2, by a score of 8-0.

The loss ends Airport’s playoff run. The games were played at James Island and Airport needed to win both to advance. The Eagles finish with a record of 20-10.

Legion Collegiate defeated Gray Collegiate 4-3, Friday in the 2A Upper State District 2 winner’s bracket game. The game was played at the Midland Sports Complex in Pine Ridge. It was a winner’s bracket game. Gray will now travel Monday to play the winner of Saturday’s elimination game between Chesnee and Abbeville.
