Airport High School plays a home football game versus Lower Richland at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
Lower Richland is 0-2 with home losses to Crestwood and Spring Valley.
The Eagles saw the return, last week, of QB Bret Burnett who was injured most of 2015. He had a very solid performance and Airport scored 43 points in a loss to crosstown rival Brookland-Cayce.
Both Airport and Lower Richland are 4A class schools, but the teams are not in the same conference. Airport defeated LR in 2015.
Brookland-Cayce – a 3A school- travels to 5A Lexington High School for a 7:30 p.m. game.
Lexington has a two road wins. The Wildcats defeated West Florence and A.C. Flora.
The Bearcats won at Airport last week and defeated Lake Marion Aug. 19.
