Airport High School’s annual Camp Kemo fundraiser is in full swing last week (March 4-9) with a goal of raising $60,000 to send kids with cancer and blood disorders to Camp Kemo this summer. The event, in its 25th year, includes a slate of fun ways to raise money. On Wednesday, those included throwing pies in teachers’ faces, taping staff and administrators to walls, and a hand-on-the-car contest. The camp is affiliated with Prisma Health’s Children’s Hospital. Last year, the school raised more than $56,000.
