Airport High School senior CeCe Gardner has been named a 2024 Coca-Cola Scholar semifinalist. The Coca-Cola Scholars Program is the largest corporate-sponsored, achievement-based scholarship program in the United States.
Gardner was one of 1,514 students nationwide, and one of just 28 in South Carolina, named a semifinalist based on academic excellence, leadership and service demonstrated in school and community activities.
Semifinalist applications are now being reviewed, and 250 will advance as regional finalists. Of those, 150 will be named Coca-Cola Scholars and receive $20,000 scholarships.
Gardner plans to attend Columbia College after graduating in May.
