Airport High School Principal resigns
Airport High School Principal Brad Coleman has resigned, about a month after he was put on administrative leave.
Brad Coleman submitted his resignation at a meeting of the Lexington School District Two Board Thursday afternoon.
The resignation is official as of June 30.
Coleman had been put on administrative leave in February. The district has not revealed why he was put on leave.
But assistant principal, Dawn Diimmler, was also put on leave about the same time Coleman was put on leave. Diimmler was fired after she was charged with having a sexual relationship with a student. The allegations involved a 19-year-old student at the school. Coleman had been principal since 2016.
