High School football season is getting closer, and that includes action for Brookland-Cayce and Airport High Schools of Lexington School District 2.

Airport will play Lexington and Brookland-Cayce plays Blythewood in an upcoming jamboree.

As a prelude to the season, the 2016 Aun and McKay Kickoff Classic jamboree is scheduled in Chapin, Saturday Aug. 13.  The jamboree begins at 5 p.m. at Chapin High’s Cecil Woolbright Field.

If you plan to go, buy your tickets through Airport and Brookland-Cayce.

White Knoll, Ben Lippen, Mid-Carolina and Chapin will also play in the Kickoff Classic.

5 p.m. Ben Lippen at Mid-Carolina

6 p.m. Airport at Lexington

7 p.m. Blythewood at Brookland-Cayce

8 p.m. Chapin at White Knoll
