The Bureau of Land Management in West Columbia is sponsoring a “Bring Home Your Own Wild Horse or Burro” event Oct. 9 and 10. It’s at the South Congaree Arena, 395 Oak St. South Congaree.

Adoptions and sales begin at 9 a.m. on Friday (Oct. 9.) The event begins at 8 a.m. on Saturday (Oct. 10.)

Trained and untrained animals will be available and there is a fee to adopt.
