Lexington Police and Lexington County EMS were on the scene of a collision on Sunset Boulevard (US-378) at Old Cherokee Road before 9 a.m., Monday had multiple inbound and outbound lanes closed. Inbound traffic was detoured onto Old Cherokee Road.

All lanes were reopened before 10 a.m.. The collision was caused by a driver failing to yield the right of way while making a turn across opposing lanes.
