Abraham the Camel has died. Abraham starred in the annual “Jesus is His Name” Christmas Show in South Congaree. Abraham was owned by Clifford Fisher. The two often appeared at local festivals, parades and school and community events.

The camel died early Tuesday morning after going through surgery for an intestinal blockage, according to Facebook posts by the family of his owners.
