A new mayoral candidate has filed to run for West Columbia mayor. And another council candidate has filed to run since the last westmetronews.net update. 

Madison D. Duncan has filed to run for mayor, and Trevor Bedell has filed to run for the District 2 council seat.

The City of West Columbia Municipal Election is Nov. 3.

So far, the following have filed to run:

Mayor: Incumbent – Joseph “Joe” Owens , Bobby Horton, Madison D. Duncan
District 2: Robin Lambert Johnson, Trevor Bedell (Councilman Eric Fowler has said he will not run for reelection.)
District 4: Incumbent Temus “Tem” Miles,  Chuck Underhill
District 6: Incumbent, BJ Unthank, Sonny Narang, Jimmy Brooks
District 8: Incumbent Teddy Wingard
