A downed tree disrupts power in Lexington, Saturday morning

A tree fell in Lexington Saturday, around 9 a.m. and brought down power lines with it. The downed power lines left more than 100 Dominion Energy customers without power, according to the Lexington Police Department.

The power lines were down at Brookhill West off of Park Road near Park North Apartments.

The road was closed and Dominion crews came to the site and worked to restore power before noon. (LPD photos)
