Lexington County Coroner’s Office investigating a cold case homicide, asks for public’s help
The Lexington County Coroner’s Office is investigating a cold case homicide and needs your help.
On Sept. 2, 2006 Julianne Lee (born 1961) who would be 57, now, was found dead from stab wounds inside of her single-wide mobile home lat 628 Lawson Road in the Leesville area of Lexington County.
At the time of her death, the Lexington County Coroner requested that an autopsy be performed and the death was originally ruled a suicide.
However, the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department discovered further evidence that indicated foul play was involved in Julianne’s death. Further investigation into the case by an independent pathologist found the cause of death to be homicide.
A $25,000 reward is being offered by family for any information that may have lead to an arrest and conviction in this murder.

This investigation has remained open and assigned to a Sheriff’s Department detective since Ms. Lee’s death 2006.
