The Chick-fil-A drive-thru at Saluda Pointe in Lexington had be closed for a while Friday night until the result of a collision could be cleared from the driveway.

A driver hit a brick wall and damaged it. The driver was transported to the hospital by EMS with unknown injuries, according to the Lexington Police Department.

A contributing factor to the crash, said police, was  the driver mistaking the brake pedal for the gas pedal while in the drive-thru and striking a brick wall. LPD photos.
