The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a shooting on I-26 near Exit 113.
Witnesses told deputies that a man on a motorcycle fired shots into a car while traveling on the interstate. One person was injured in the car. The individual has been transported for treatment.

Crime scene investigators are processing the car and collecting potential evidence from the immediate area.
Myrick said community tips could prove to be important in identifying the motorcycle driver who – according to witnesses – was involved in the shooting. Please share tips w/ @MidlandsCrime at 888-CRIME-SC. You will remain anonymous and could be eligible for a cash reward.
