Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher has released the identity of the individual found deceased following a residential structure fire.
The fire occurred shortly after midnight, Sunday in the 300 block of Sunny Boy Poole Road in Gaston.
According to Fisher, Mr. Tommy Ray Watts, 52, of Gaston was pronounced dead on scene following a fire inside his residence.
An autopsy has been scheduled for Monday to determine the cause of Watts’s death. The cause and origin of the fire is still being investigated by South Carolina Law Enforcement Division and the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department.
