All lanes of I-26 west were closed Monday morning, for several miles near US-1 (Milemarker 111)  due to a jackknifed truck. Motorists were asked to take an alternate route, around 9 a.m. Monday.

The lanes were eventually  opened- and all was clear, according to the West Columbia Police Department.
