Sheppard’s Glass Service at 2519 Platt Springs Road in West Columbia celebrated their 50th business anniversary on Friday.

Sen. Nikki Setzler presented a Resolution from the State Senate to commemorate the occasion.

Customers, friends, and colleagues enjoyed a catered lunch and door prize giveaway. 107.5 The Game broadcast the Friday afternoon halftime show from the event as well.

Lonnie Sheppard, founded Sheppard’s Glass Service in location where they are still operating in 1968, next door to the family home. With strong Christian values, hard work, and patience, the Sheppard’s grew their business into a full-fledged family owned business.
