West Columbia issues letter to detail storm reaction plan

At West Columbia City Hall, we are utilizing city services to prepare for the impact of Hurricane Florence. Below is useful information for the days ahead. City Council and staff have collaborated to assist our citizens leading up to and during Hurricane Florence. You may also be receiving this information from your council district person.
  • Now is the time to prepare for Hurricane Florence’s impact on the City. Have three to five days worth of food, water, batteries and other personal supplies for you and your family in case of power outages or impassable roads.
  • If you wait to see what impact the storm has here locally, it will be too late. Get your family’s supplies immediately and share your plans with family members outside the region.
