Retail center planned for Sunset Boulevard, West Columbia
New commercial property is coming.
A retail center is being planned for 2875 Sunset Boulevard, West Columbia. It’s the strip of property beside Freddy’s Steakburgers.
Colliers International real estate group, in an email from broker Taylor Wolfe, stated that there will be a newly-constructed retail building consisting of 6,000 sq. ft. of contiguous space subdividable to 1,500 sq. ft.
“The property sits along a highly-desirable retail corridor right off of I-26 on Sunset Boulevard, less than two miles from I-20 and 4 miles from Downtown Columbia. It is located across from Lexington Medical Center in West Columbia (which has 438 beds and 6,500+ employees) and the new Freddy’s Steakburgers.”
The email also stated: “Lexington County is characterized by high residential and commercial growth, and this property is located in one of the most rapidly-growing areas of the Columbia, South Carolina MSA. This property is ideally suited for restaurants, boutique fitness centers, soft goods retailers, service businesses, or shop space users.”
The property also features: Retail frontage along Sunset Boulevard/ US-Highway 378; Monument signage available; Building sits on an outparcel of two newly-constructed hotels; Traffic Counts: Sunset Boulevard: 26,500 Vehicles Per Day; and I-26: 92,700 Vehicles Per Day.
