A train in Lexington is rolling again after a collision with a truck at Melanie Drive and Chapin Road. The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department reported the crash. A cleanup and an investigation was going on just after noon, Wednesday. You can expect continued traffic delays near the crash site. Deputies were on Chapin Road directing traffic.

According to first responders on scene, the truck was leaking fuel. Reports also indicated the train was carrying coal and wood chips. LCSD photos.
